We know, it looks like a bar of soap, but believe us, it is much more! Our unconventional format is just like the toothpastes you may be used to except, our "surfactant" is saponified, organic oils, instead of the most common detergent/surfactant used in commercial toothpastes, sodium lauryl sulfate or SLS. SLS is a dreadful chemical used to create the foaming action that occurs while brushing. It is also used in many other body care products including soaps and shampoos. For optimal dental/oral health, we recommend brushing with our toothpaste twice a day and flossing daily, along with addressing overall systemic health, diet and regular dental visits.
