Our Scalp Detox Scrub provides the scalp with a healthy dose of lauric, glycolic and fatty acids along with xylitol, therapeutic herbs and essential oils.  Our carefully chosen ingredients exfoliate, promote circulation and hair growth while ridding the scalp of excess yeast, which can be found on the scalp causing dry, itchy skin.  This scrub contains many antibacterial and antifungal herbs and oils. All safe and natural ingredients which work together to clarify the scalp of pore clogging dead skin/flakes and other impurities, allowing moisture to penetrate and revitalize the follicles.
 
Dihydrotestosterone or DHT a hormone that, if levels are too high, can cause hair loss. Using herbal DHT blockers topically is an effective way to keep the scalp healthy. Of course, other factors like diet/lack of proper nutrients (common: zinc, D, iron, magnesium, biotin), tobacco use, high stress levels and lack of exercise also contribute to elevated DHT in the body. We recommend our Serum be used topically, along with regular scalp massages (to activate blood flow), not wearing tight hairstyles and addressing the aforementioned factors for best results to stop or slow hair loss (from all angles).

Studies have shown that with regular use of our chosen oils, the number of follicles increased, which has shown that these oils may help to promote the body's ability to grow hair more rapidly.  Some research showed that specifically, rosemary and peppermint oil promote more hair growth than topical medications such as Minoxidil, a strong, prescribed medication, but without the negative side-effects!  

DIRECTIONS: Use 1 -2 x a week

* Super easy, can be done while you shower. Apply to damp scalp as soon as you get in, scrub and leave on while you wash then, shampoo out.

Or, if you have more time:

* Apply to scalp and gently scrub 1-2 minutes

* Cover with a shower cap and apply a warm towel on top for 5-10 minutes

* Shampoo out and style as usual
