There have been many recent studies concerning the long-term use of alcohol-based mouthwashes and their negative impact on dental, oral and overall health.  Not only are they proven unhealthy, they actually cause bad breath!  Most conventional mouthwashes contain Alcohol along with a myriad of proven, unhealthy ingredients. Following is just a small amount of information on the dangers of these mouthwashes.

(1) Some researchers are concerned that the long-term use of products with alcohol may increase the risk of oral cancer.

🌿 We at Mia Botanica set out to create a perfect, synthetic-chemical-free mouthwash/oral rinse for daily use, (it is also great for those who have had dental work or oral surgery).  With the power of Wild Mediterranean Oregano Oil,  which is a strong, naturally antimicrobial and antispasmodic remedy.  Many people have successfully used it this oil for treating a tooth abscess, which is an infection that can spread to the jaw. The pain associated with a jaw infection can be so severe that dentists typically prescribe pain medications.  Oregano Oil's numbing properties reduce pain, and its antimicrobial properties can help clear up infection.  We've blended a basic salt rinse with orally beneficial oils to act as a powerful, natural antibiotic, (not to replace a strongly recommended prescribed antibiotic.  Please talk to your doctor/dentist if you plan on using our rinse instead of medication proceeding surgery).  Our mouthwash contains natural anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-microbial ingredients to fend off the bacteria that may cause infection and swelling.  Acids and bacteria that settle in our mouth are what throw off the pH and cause cavities, gum disease and bad breath.  We incorporate pH balancing components to neutralize the oral microbiome, creating an atmosphere for remineralization and pleasant breath.  It is minty and leaves your mouth feeling clean and fresh but, is not overbearing.  Can be great for loosening mucous and easing pain associated with a sore throat and help kill the bacteria/virus that causes it. * Shake Well
* Use approximately 1-2 tsp, 2x a day (may be diluted in water or used alone) Swish for 30 seconds, Gargle and Spit. 
* The mouthwash is potent enough to be used once a day, if desired.  
* Rinse (optional)
* Not for children under 10 years, using your judgment (also, can easily be diluted with purified water)
* Do not swallow

↪️ Please use up our mouthwash in approximately 2-3 weeks. And, for optimal longevity, keep refrigerated (opt). Our Organic Mouthwash does not contain any harmful chemical preservatives however, it contains common, safe food/drink preservatives, has a naturally high pH and is made in small batches which keeps it fresh for the recommended time.

At Mia Botanica, we strive to keep our products pure at every cost, which is why we only use Filtered Reverse Osmosis Water for all of our aqueous formulations. So, we get the most (or least) out of our water!
